HVAC local SEO
Local SEO services for HVAC companies
We run your Google Business Profile, reviews and city pages so your HVAC company can rank in the map pack. Plans start at $1,000 a month, with a ranking refund.
Definition: HVAC local SEO is the work of making a heating and cooling company appear in Google Maps, the map pack and local search results when homeowners nearby look for repair, installation or maintenance.
Main fact: For an HVAC company, local rankings run through four things: the Google Business Profile, reviews, service pages and city pages. We run all four from $1,000 a month for one location and one trade.
What we do: We set up and maintain the profile, build the pages, run a review routine and report rankings every month. If agreed ranking targets are missed at the review, our ranking refund applies. We do not promise calls, jobs or ranking dates.
What is HVAC local SEO?
HVAC local SEO is the part of HVAC SEO that decides who appears in the map pack and Google Maps for searches near the customer. It covers your Google Business Profile, your reviews, your service-area setup and the pages that match the cities you serve.
Compare this with other channels in our HVAC marketing guide. Our HVAC SEO page covers the full picture, from search intent to site pages. This page covers the local half and how we run it. For the general idea, read what local SEO is, and for the ranking mechanics, how Google Maps ranking works.
What does our HVAC local SEO service include?
Our HVAC local SEO service has six workstreams, and each has a named output you can check. The table shows what we do for an HVAC company and what you receive.
| Workstream | What we do for an HVAC company | What you receive |
|---|---|---|
| Business Profile care | Set the category, services, service area, hours, photos and posts, and keep them accurate | A profile under your ownership, with changes listed in the monthly report |
| Service pages | Build or fix pages for AC repair, furnace repair, installation and maintenance plans, for the work you really do | Pages on your own website |
| City pages | Write a page for each city you really serve, with local detail you confirm | Pages on your own website |
| Review routine | Set up the job-finish ask, the review link and QR card, and reply drafts you approve | A repeatable routine and a drafted reply for each review |
| Listings cleanup | Make your name, address and phone consistent across listings | One clear version of your business |
| Reporting | Check map and search rankings from points across your service area, and report reviews and profile activity | A monthly ranking report |
The Growth plan adds more cities and monthly AI answer tracking, and Domination covers multiple locations and trades. Everything we publish lives on your website, and your Business Profile, Analytics and Search Console stay under your ownership.
How do we set up an HVAC Google Business Profile?
We set up your profile to match what you really do, using the fields Google gives you and following its guidelines. The table shows the HVAC decisions and what Google says about each.
| Profile field | What the sources say | What we do for HVAC |
|---|---|---|
| Primary category | Pick the specific category that best describes the business, from Google's list. You cannot create your own. | Search the category field for HVAC options and choose the most specific one that matches your main work. |
| Additional categories | Add only a few. Do not add one for every product or service. | Add one only for work you genuinely do, such as a separate heating or cooling focus. |
| Business name | Use your real-world name. Extra information in the name can lead to suspension. | Match the name on your trucks, invoices and website. No city, service or tagline added. |
| Services | Experts ranked the presence of predefined services 22nd of the map pack and Maps factors. | List each job you perform, such as AC repair, furnace installation and maintenance plans, and nothing you do not do. |
| Hours | List regular and special hours. | Keep hours accurate and set special hours for holidays. |
| Photos | Show what you offer and tell your story. | Add real photos of your team, trucks and completed jobs. |
Experts also weigh these fields. In the Whitespark 2026 survey, they ranked the primary category first and "open at time of search" fifth among map pack and Maps factors. Those scores are expert opinion and not Google confirmation. Our Google Business Profile optimization page covers the service, and our profile checklist lets you audit it yourself.
How do we set up the service area for an HVAC company?
We set one service-area profile for the base you work from, with a service area you can truly reach. Google allows one service-area profile for a business that travels to customers, and it says a plumber or similar contractor working from home should hide the home address.
Do
Hide a home address. Set an area you can reach in about two hours of driving. Add a second profile only for a real location with its own staff.
Do not
Use a P.O. box or an unstaffed virtual office. List cities you do not serve. Create extra profiles for locations that are not real, staffed locations.
Google says a service area should not extend much beyond about two hours of driving, and it allows one profile per location only when each location has its own service area and staff. A mistake here can get a profile suspended. Our guide to a suspended Google Business Profile covers the appeal, and we avoid the problem at setup.
Which city and service pages does HVAC local SEO need?
HVAC local SEO needs one page per core service and one page per city you really serve. A service page says what you do, and a city page says where you do it and adds local facts a copied page cannot have.
We cannot write local detail we cannot verify, so we ask you for it. The table lists what we need from you for a city page and what each input becomes.
| We ask you for | It becomes |
|---|---|
| The neighborhoods and towns you serve in that city | The areas named on the page |
| The jobs you do most there, and what affects the price | A plain explanation of the work and cost factors |
| Utility rebates or programs you have confirmed for that area | A short, dated note with its source, only if verified |
| Typical problems you see in local homes | Specific content a copied page would lack |
| Licenses, insurance and certifications you hold | Trust details, listed only if you hold them |
| Your response process and hours | How and when a customer can reach you |
We never write "24/7", "same day" or a license claim unless you confirm it, because a promise you cannot keep costs you reviews. We do not copy one city page across many towns. See HVAC SEO for the full page list.
How do reviews work in our HVAC local SEO service?
We build a job-finish routine so every HVAC customer is asked the same way, and every review gets a reply. Google says more reviews and positive ratings can help local ranking, and that replying shows you value feedback.
- At job finishThe technician asks and shows the QR card
- A day or two laterOne text or email with your review link
- Every weekYou approve drafted replies
We follow Google's policy: no discounts or gifts for reviews, no asking only happy customers and no review quotas for technicians. Keep asking all year, not only in the busy season, because a steady flow is easier to sustain than a seasonal burst. That is our judgment, and experts rank a steady flow of reviews 14th of the map pack and Maps factors. Use our review link generator and review QR code generator to start, and read how to get more Google reviews for the full routine.
How does seasonality change the plan?
HVAC demand moves with the weather, and rankings take months to build, so pages and reviews should be in place before each season. Exact timing depends on your climate, so we set the calendar with you.
We plan profile photos, service pages and special hours ahead of your busy periods, and we keep the review routine running through the quiet months. Google lists special hours as part of the profile, so holiday hours get set before the holiday. Our HVAC SEO page has the seasonal planning cycle.
What does HVAC local SEO cost?
Our plans start at $1,000, $2,000 and $3,500 a month, and the final scope sets the final price. A company with one location and one trade fits Foundation.
| Plan | From | Best for an HVAC company that | Includes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Foundation | $1,000 a month | Has one location and one trade and wants to win a local market first | Business Profile care, service and city pages, a review system and citations, and a monthly ranking report |
| Growth | $2,000 a month | Serves several cities | Everything in Foundation, more cities and service pages, monthly AI answer tracking and priority reporting calls |
| Domination | $3,500 a month | Runs multiple locations, trades or a franchise | Everything in Growth, multiple locations and trades, location-level reporting and a custom written scope |
You start with a paid AI visibility audit, and we credit the fee to your first month if you continue. See pricing for the full plan details. Your written agreement lists the exact deliverables before you pay a retainer.
How does the ranking refund work for an HVAC company?
We agree the searches and positions in writing before you pay a retainer, and we check them together at the review, at six months by default. If we miss them, you pay only for the audit, content and design delivered, and we refund the rest.
- Agree targetsWe write down the searches and map pack or organic positions we aim for, before you pay a retainer.
- Review at six monthsWe check the results together, using accounts you own.
- Settle fairlyIf we missed, you pay only for the audit, content and design delivered, and we refund the rest.
The refund covers map pack and organic rankings only. We report AI answer visibility, but it is excluded. It is a promise about money and not a promise about Google. Read the full ranking refund policy.
What do we measure and report each month?
We report where you rank from points across your service area, because rankings change with the searcher's position. Our guide on how Google Maps ranking works explains why one number is not enough.
| Measure | Where it comes from | What it tells you |
|---|---|---|
| Map pack position by point | Our rank checks from points in your service area | Whether you appear where customers search |
| Organic position | Search results for agreed searches | Whether service and city pages rank |
| Review count and rating | Your Business Profile | Prominence and trust |
| Profile activity | Google's performance data: searches, views, calls, directions and website clicks | How people use your profile. Google does not report your ranking position. |
| AI answer mentions (Growth) | Monthly repeated questions in AI tools | Whether you are named. Results vary and are not guaranteed |
What do we need from you?
We need access to your accounts, an accurate list of the work you do and the places you serve, and your agreement to a review routine. Without these we cannot do honest local SEO.
- Owner or manager access to your Business Profile, Analytics and Search Console.
- A list of the services you perform and the cities you serve, with the hours you answer.
- Real photos of your team, trucks and jobs.
- Any license, insurance or certification details you want shown, if you hold them.
- One person who approves review replies and asks customers at job finish.
What should you ask any HVAC SEO company before you hire?
Ask who owns your accounts, what happens if targets are missed and whether prices and results are shown with a method. The table lists five questions and what a good answer looks like. The good answers are our judgment, not a standard.
| Question | A good answer | Our answer |
|---|---|---|
| Who owns the Business Profile and accounts? | You do, with the agency added as a manager. | You own your profile, Analytics and Search Console. |
| What happens if you miss the targets? | A written remedy, agreed before you pay. | Our ranking refund, agreed in writing before the retainer. |
| Do you publish prices? | A price range or starting price, with the scope. | Plans from $1,000, $2,000 and $3,500 a month. |
| Do you show client results? | Named results with a method, or an honest "none yet". | We have no case studies yet and will not invent any. Your audit shows your own numbers. |
| Will you follow Google's review and address rules? | Yes, in writing, with no incentives or fake locations. | Yes. See the rules above. |
Be careful with guarantees that come with no terms, results with no method, and pages built from stock photos instead of real jobs.
Who is behind Aimarketify?
Aimarketify is run by R. Rahman, who holds an MBA in marketing, has about seven years in SEO and writes SEO and sales pages. A person reviews every page before it goes live, and our AI-based workflow speeds up the research and drafting. Read more on the about page.
What can we not promise?
We cannot promise calls, jobs, revenue, a ranking position or a date. We work on rankings and visibility, which we can measure, and calls depend on your pricing, availability and sales process. Google decides who ranks, and no one can pay for a better local ranking.
Who is this service not for?
This service is not for companies that want guaranteed leads, want to buy reviews or want to show a fake address in more cities. It is also a poor fit if no one can ask customers for reviews or approve pages. If you want an honest read of where you stand first, book an audit.
