Roofing local SEO
Local SEO services for roofing companies
We run your Google Business Profile, reviews and city pages so your roofing company can rank in the map pack. Plans start at $1,000 a month, with a ranking refund.
Definition: Roofing local SEO is the work of making a roofing company appear in Google Maps, the map pack and local search results when homeowners nearby search for roof repair, replacement or inspection.
Our approach: AI-based work with a person reviewing every page. Plans start at $1,000 a month, with a ranking refund if agreed targets are missed. We cannot promise calls, jobs or ranking dates.
What is roofing local SEO?
Roofing local SEO is the part of roofing SEO that decides who appears in the map pack and Google Maps for searches near the homeowner. It covers your Google Business Profile, your reviews, your service-area setup, and the service and city pages that match what you really do.
A roof is a high-ticket, high-trust purchase, so homeowners compare several companies before they call. Local SEO gets you into that comparison. Our roofing SEO page covers the whole picture, from search intent to proof. This page covers the local half and how we run it. For the general idea, read what local SEO is.
What does our roofing local SEO service include?
Our roofing local SEO service has six workstreams, and each has a named output you can check. The table shows what we do for a roofing company and what you receive.
| Workstream | What we do for a roofing company | What you receive |
|---|---|---|
| Business Profile care | Set the category, services, service area, hours, photos and posts, and keep them accurate | A profile under your ownership, with changes listed in the monthly report |
| Service pages | Build or fix pages for roof repair, replacement and inspection, and for each material you really install | Pages on your own website |
| City pages | Write a page for each city you really serve, with local detail you confirm | Pages on your own website |
| Storm readiness | Prepare a storm page, profile updates and a photo plan before storm season | A ready plan, set with you by region |
| Review routine | Set up the job-finish ask, the review link and QR card, and reply drafts you approve | A repeatable routine and a drafted reply for each review |
| Reporting | Check map and search rankings from points across your service area, and report reviews and profile activity | A monthly ranking report |
Listings cleanup is part of the Foundation plan. The Growth plan adds more cities and monthly AI answer tracking, and Domination covers multiple locations and trades. Everything we publish lives on your website, and your Business Profile, Analytics and Search Console stay under your ownership.
How do we set up a roofing Google Business Profile?
We set up your profile to match what you really do, using the fields Google gives you and following its guidelines. The table shows the profile decisions and what Google says about each.
| Profile field | What the sources say | What we do for roofing |
|---|---|---|
| Primary category | Pick the specific category that best describes the business, from Google's list. You cannot create your own. | Search the category field for roofing options and choose the most specific one that matches your main work. |
| Additional categories | Add only a few. Do not add one for every product or service. | Add one only for work you genuinely do, and do not tag every material or service. |
| Business name | Use your real-world name. Extra information in the name can lead to suspension. | Match the name on your trucks, invoices and website. No city, service or tagline added. |
| Services | Experts ranked the presence of predefined services 22nd of the map pack and Maps factors. | List each job you perform, such as roof repair, replacement and inspection, and nothing you do not do. |
| Hours | List regular and special hours. | Keep hours accurate, and update them if your storm-response hours change. |
| Photos | Show what you offer and tell your story. | Add real photos of crews, trucks and finished roofs, with the homeowner's permission. |
In the Whitespark 2026 survey, experts ranked the primary category first among map pack and Maps factors. That score is expert opinion and not Google confirmation. Google also says you may be asked to verify your business again if you change a category, so we change categories carefully and not casually.
How do we set the service area for a roofing company?
We set one service-area profile for the base you work from, with an area you can truly reach. Roofers travel to the job, so most roofing companies are service-area businesses, and Google says to hide the address if customers do not visit you there.
Do
Hide a home address. Set an area you can reach in about two hours of driving. Add a second profile only for a real location with its own staff.
Do not
Use a rented mailbox, a virtual office or a borrowed address to appear in a storm-hit city you do not serve from.
A fake address is the roofing trap. After a storm, it is tempting to claim a city you have no office in. A mistake here can get a profile suspended, and that costs more than the jobs it chases. Read our guide to how Google Maps ranking works to see why distance matters, and use city pages to cover places you serve without a profile there.
Which city and service pages does roofing local SEO need?
Roofing local SEO needs one page per core service and one page per city you really serve. A service page says what you do, and a city page says where you do it and adds local facts a copied page would lack.
We cannot write local detail we cannot verify, so we ask you for it. The table lists what we need from you for a city page and what each input becomes.
| We ask you for | It becomes |
|---|---|
| The neighborhoods and towns you serve in that city | The areas named on the page |
| The roof types and problems you see most there | Specific content a copied page would lack |
| What affects price in your jobs: size, pitch, materials, tear-off, permits | A plain explanation of cost factors, with no invented prices |
| Local permit or code details you have confirmed | A short, dated note with its source, only if verified |
| License, insurance, warranty terms and certifications you hold | Trust details, listed only if you hold them |
| Real project photos you may use | Proof on the page, with the homeowner's permission |
We never write a license, warranty length or insurance claim unless you confirm it, because requirements differ by state. We do not copy one city page across many towns. See roofing SEO for the full page list.
How does roofing local SEO handle storm season?
Roofing demand can spike after storms, and rankings take months to build, so the local work has to be ready before the storm. Your busy periods depend on your region and weather, so we set the calendar with you.
- BeforeStorm page, services and photos ready
- DuringHours, areas and posts kept accurate
- AfterAsk for reviews and add project proof
On a storm page we describe your process, such as inspection, photos and a written report. We do not promise claim approval or imply you control an insurance outcome, and rules for roofers and insurance work vary by state. That is our caution, not a Google rule.
How do reviews work in our roofing local SEO service?
We build a job-finish routine so every roofing customer is asked the same way, and every review gets a reply. Google says more reviews and positive ratings can help local ranking, and that replying shows you value feedback.
- At job finishThe crew lead asks and shows the QR card
- A day or two laterOne text or email with your review link
- Every weekYou approve drafted replies
Roofers close fewer jobs than many trades, so each review counts for more, and a steady routine matters. We follow Google's policy: no discounts or gifts for reviews, no asking only happy customers and no review quotas for crews. Use our review link generator and review QR code generator to start, and read how to get more Google reviews.
What does roofing local SEO cost?
Our plans start at $1,000, $2,000 and $3,500 a month, and the final scope sets the final price. A roofing company with one location and one trade fits Foundation.
| Plan | From | Best for a roofing company that | Includes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Foundation | $1,000 a month | Has one location and one trade and wants to win a local market first | Business Profile care, service and city pages, a review system and citations, and a monthly ranking report |
| Growth | $2,000 a month | Serves several cities | Everything in Foundation, more cities and service pages, monthly AI answer tracking and priority reporting calls |
| Domination | $3,500 a month | Runs multiple locations, trades or a franchise | Everything in Growth, multiple locations and trades, location-level reporting and a custom written scope |
You start with a paid AI visibility audit, and we credit the fee to your first month if you continue. See pricing for the full plan details. Your written agreement lists the exact deliverables before you pay a retainer.
How does the ranking refund work for a roofing company?
We agree the searches and positions in writing before you pay a retainer, and we check them together at the review, at six months by default. If we miss them, you pay only for the audit, content and design delivered, and we refund the rest.
- Agree targetsWe write down the searches and map pack or organic positions we aim for, before you pay a retainer.
- Review at six monthsWe check the results together, using accounts you own.
- Settle fairlyIf we missed, you pay only for the audit, content and design delivered, and we refund the rest.
The refund covers map pack and organic rankings only. We report AI answer visibility, but it is excluded. It is a promise about money and not a promise about Google. Read the full ranking refund policy.
What do we measure and report each month?
We report where you rank from points across your service area, because rankings change with the searcher's position.
| Measure | Where it comes from | What it tells you |
|---|---|---|
| Map pack position by point | Our rank checks from points in your service area | Whether you appear where homeowners search |
| Organic position | Search results for agreed searches | Whether service and city pages rank |
| Review count and rating | Your Business Profile | Prominence and trust |
| Profile activity | Google's performance data: searches, views, calls, directions and website clicks | How people use your profile. Google does not report your ranking position. |
| AI answer mentions (Growth) | Monthly repeated questions in AI tools | Whether you are named. Results vary and are not guaranteed |
What do we need from you?
We need access to your accounts, an accurate list of the work you do and the places you serve, and your agreement to a review routine. Without these we cannot do honest local SEO.
- Owner or manager access to your Business Profile, Analytics and Search Console.
- A list of the services you perform, the materials you install and the cities you serve.
- Your license, insurance and warranty details, if you want them shown.
- Real photos of crews, trucks and finished roofs.
- One person who approves review replies and asks customers at job finish.
What should you ask any roofing SEO company before you hire?
Ask who owns your accounts, what happens if targets are missed, and how they handle storm-season addresses. The table lists five questions and what a good answer looks like. The good answers are our judgment, not a standard.
| Question | A good answer | Our answer |
|---|---|---|
| Who owns the Business Profile and accounts? | You do, with the agency added as a manager. | You own your profile, Analytics and Search Console. |
| What happens if you miss the targets? | A written remedy, agreed before you pay. | Our ranking refund, agreed in writing before the retainer. |
| Do you create profiles in storm-hit cities? | No. Only for a real location with its own staff. | No. We use city pages for places you serve. |
| Do you show client results? | Named results with a method, or an honest "none yet". | We have no case studies yet and will not invent any. Your audit shows your own numbers. |
| Do you publish prices? | A price range or starting price, with the scope. | Plans from $1,000, $2,000 and $3,500 a month. |
Be careful with guarantees that come with no terms, results with no method, and pages built from stock photos instead of real roofs.
Who is behind Aimarketify?
Aimarketify is run by R. Rahman, who holds an MBA in marketing, has about seven years in SEO and writes SEO and sales pages. A person reviews every page before it goes live, and our AI-based workflow speeds up the research and drafting. Read more on the about page.
What can we not promise?
We cannot promise calls, jobs, revenue, a ranking position or a date. We work on rankings and visibility, which we can measure, and calls depend on your pricing, availability and sales process. Google decides who ranks, and no one can pay for a better local ranking.
Who is this service not for?
This service is not for companies that want guaranteed leads, want to buy reviews or want to show a fake address in storm-hit cities. It is also a poor fit if no one can ask customers for reviews or approve pages. If you want an honest read of where you stand first, book an audit. Other trades work the same way; see HVAC local SEO.
