Definition: An AI SEO audit is a paid review of how a home service company appears in Google Maps, Google Search and AI answers. It ends in a fix list ranked by priority.
Main fact: Google says AI Overviews and AI Mode have no extra requirements beyond a page being indexed and eligible for a snippet. The audit therefore starts with fundamentals, not tricks.
What we do: We audit US HVAC, roofing, plumbing and electrical companies. The audit fee is credited to your first month if you continue with a plan.
What is an AI SEO audit for a home service contractor?
An AI SEO audit is a paid review of where your company shows up in Google Maps, Google Search and AI answers, and what blocks it. The result is a written report with fixes ranked by priority, not a raw tool export.
On this site, "AI SEO audit" and "AI visibility audit" mean the same service. We built it for companies that need to be found when a homeowner searches for a trade in their city. Trade detail lives on the HVAC SEO and roofing SEO pages.
What does the AI SEO audit check?
The audit checks six areas that decide whether Google and AI assistants can find, trust and describe your company.
| Area | What we check | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Google Business Profile | Business name, categories, services, hours, service area and whether the address is hidden if you travel to customers. | Maps results start from the profile. |
| Reviews | Review count, recency, replies and whether you have a working review link. | Prospects read reviews before they call. |
| Listings | Name, address and phone number on major listings and data sources. | Conflicting details make it harder to confirm which business you are. This is our judgment. |
| Site and city pages | Indexing, service pages, city pages, internal links, and licence or insurance details if you hold them. | Google says a page must be indexed and snippet-eligible to appear as a supporting link in AI features. |
| Schema and details | LocalBusiness markup, and whether it matches the text on the page. | Google recommends structured data match visible content. |
| AI answers | A fixed set of customer-style prompts for your trade and city, such as "best roofer in [city]". We record whether your company is named and which sources appear. | It gives a dated baseline to compare against later. |
How do Maps, Search and AI answers use the same signals?
They describe the same company from the same public information: your profile, your website, your listings and your reviews. Google documents no extra requirements for its AI features, so the audit treats AI answers as an outcome of those fundamentals.
Service-area rules matter for contractors who work from home. Google's guidelines say a service-area business should hide its address, use its real-world business name, and avoid PO boxes or unstaffed virtual offices. They also say a service area should not reach beyond about two hours of driving from your base. The audit flags every mismatch.
How does the AI SEO audit work?
The audit runs in five steps and ends with your decision to continue or not.
- RequestYou send the audit request form with your company name, trade and service area.
- ScopeWe confirm what is in scope and what access we need.
- CheckWe review your profile, site, listings and reviews, then run the AI answer prompts.
- ReportYou receive a written report with findings ranked by priority.
- DecideYou continue with a plan or keep the report and act on it yourself.
We run each AI prompt more than once, because AI answers change between runs. A single manual check is a snapshot, not a result. The repeat count is our method and a judgment about reliability, not a published standard.
What do you receive from the AI SEO audit?
You receive a written report with four parts.
- Findings by area: what is wrong or missing in each of the six areas above.
- Ranked fixes: what to fix first, what to fix next and what to leave alone.
- AI answer record: the prompts we ran, the date, and which companies and sources each answer named.
- Plan fit: whether Foundation, Growth or Domination suits your scope if you continue. The work itself is delivered as local SEO with an AI SEO method.
How is it different from a traditional SEO audit or a free checker?
A traditional SEO audit reviews a website. The AI SEO audit also reviews your Maps profile, your listings and your AI answers.
| Option | What it covers | What it leaves out |
|---|---|---|
| Free page checker | Our free AI page checker scores one pasted page on eight pass or fail writing checks. | Links, speed, schema, rankings, your profile and AI answers. |
| Traditional SEO audit | Typically a site crawl, on-page and technical checks. | Usually the Business Profile, listings and AI answers. |
| AI SEO audit (Aimarketify) | Profile, reviews, listings, site, schema and AI answers for your trade and city. | Fixes are listed, not made. Work starts only if you continue. |
How much does the AI SEO audit cost, and how is the fee credited?
The audit is paid, and the fee is credited to your first month if you continue with a plan. Plans start at $1,000 a month for Foundation, $2,000 for Growth and $3,500 for Domination. Final scope sets the final price.
- AuditPaid, written report delivered
- Month 1Audit fee credited if you continue
- Month 6Default ranking review
The ranking refund works like this. If the agreed ranking targets are missed at the review, you pay only for the audit, content and design delivered, and the rest is refunded. It covers map pack and organic rankings only. AI answer visibility is reported but excluded.
Who is the AI SEO audit not for, and what can we not promise?
The audit is not for anyone who wants a guaranteed result. We do not promise calls, jobs or ranking dates. We also cannot promise that an AI assistant will name your company, because nobody controls those answers.
Good fit
You run an HVAC, roofing, plumbing or electrical company in the US and want to rank in Maps, Search and AI answers.
Not a fit
You want a guaranteed number of calls or jobs, a fixed ranking date, or a business outside US home services.
No case studies or client reviews are published yet, so this page makes no claims about past results.
Frequently asked questions
Can I run an AI SEO audit myself for free?
You can do part of it. A free checker and manual prompts in an AI assistant give you a snapshot. One check is unreliable because answers vary, so repeat each prompt before you trust the result.
Does an AI SEO audit guarantee my company will appear in AI Overviews or ChatGPT?
No. Google says indexing and serving are not guaranteed, even for eligible pages. We report your AI answer visibility, and it is excluded from the ranking refund.
Do I need special markup or an AI-specific file?
For Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, no. Google says no special schema or new machine-readable files are needed. Other assistants publish no standard, so any advice there is judgment.
Does the audit work for a contractor who works from home?
Yes. Google's service-area rules let you hide a home address and set a service area. The audit checks that your profile follows them.
How often should I repeat the audit?
Repeat it after a major change to your profile or website, and at the six-month review. This is a judgment, not a rule.
